#9 Let's Make a Deal
Let's Make a Deal is a television game show which originated in the United States and has since been
produced in many countries throughout the world. The show is based around deals
offered to members of the audience by the host. The traders usually have to
weigh the possibility of an offer being for a valuable prize, or an undesirable
item, referred to as a "Zonk". Let's Make a Deal is also
known for the various unusual and crazy costumes worn by audience members, who
dressed up that way in order to increase their chances of being selected as a
trader.
Let's Make a Deal! Usually each sports
team has a host. The host is an individual that patrols the stands interacting
with fans of the home team. The host must be very enthusiastic and persuasive
to ensure that the game is played correctly. The host must choose a excited fan
wearing home team apparel in which the host will then began to make a deal with
the selected fan. This is where the game can get exciting.
There are various prizes that are low
cost to trade or exchange for a better one. Example, the host could make a deal
with the fan by offering two seats in the VIP section (contingent they are
empty that day) or a white envelope with a mystery prize inside. The mystery
prize could be anything, two tickets to the World Series, a cruise, a trip to Disney
Land etc. The mystery prize doesn't have to be anything great either; it can be
an envelope full of confetti or coupons to the gift shop. Making a deal is
entirely up to the team’s imagination.
Let's Make a Deal can be an exciting
in game competition when things are moving slower than usual. Each round is only
30-45 seconds long. After doing some research, sponsors that might be
interested are car dealerships and realtors.
