Akira Hirai is the founder and CEO of Cayenne Consulting.
He has over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship. Akira started
two Internet companies in Silicon Valley. He has also held various management positions
in New York at Salomon Brothers and Vice President of Fixed Incomes Derivatives
Trading. Akira also earned his BA in Engineering Sciences from Harvard
University. Akira has definitely earned his ranks for respect as an expert when
it comes to writing business plans. When it comes to business planning, Akira
shows most of his focus on financial forecasting and capital formation. He
believes that these two aspects of business plans are key to success when
pitching to investors. It goes without saying, incorrect financial forecasting
could destroy your company very quickly. In addition to financial forecasting,
not knowing how to acquire the capital to launch your business will definitely
hamper your dreams of being entrepreneur as well. Akira is definitely the guy
to speak to when it comes to the financial characteristics of a business plan.
Carl Schramm is a University
Professor at Syracuse. He is also co-author of Better Capitalism: Renewing the Entrepreneurial Strength of theAmerican Economy. "Carl believes that if America does not have enough
entrepreneurs, it is because society has failed" (Bhasin, 2012). Teaching the basics of
business is what Carl truly believes. “The world needs more
entrepreneurs, they make innovation real and advance” (Schramm, 2012). “When
teaching, Schramm believes in offering a curriculum founded upon practical, real-world
lessons” (Orcutt, 2013). Schramm is most definitely a guru when it comes to the
entrepreneurial side of business. If I could use his services, I would be
humbled to have him review my business plan. After reviewing more writings from
Schramm I have decided to just show a video instead of making going on a
tangent about how much of an expert Schramm is.
